GENESYS Fume hood minimizes air turbulence, increases safety and performance of the hood. The superstructure is designed to remove all fumes, both those heavier and lighter than air. Baffle positions are fixed for safety, consistent, and complete containment of fumes at any sash position. The interior of the hood is lined with FRP or made of AISI SS 304/316 stainless steel to avoid corrosion. The exterior is fabricated of Mild Steel sheet with powder coat. Fluorescent lights are included. Around 6/8” standard duct collar is included to easily match up to most existing ductwork without costly additional “transition” pieces. The standard vertical sliding sash is made of Toughened Glass to provide additional stability and safety in and around the hood and features a full-length finger lift. The counterbalance is double weights at the rear of the hood.
